Weekend Getaway

It was a short short weekend getaway for me. This is the trip that i have been waiting for after i left Miri for almost a year now. I miss my friends and my relatives who cared for me. Miri is like my second home :D I brought my grandma to visit her sister here in Miri and i went out with my friends :)

DAY 1

DAY 2

so for the following day i went to the new mall named @imperial permaisuri mall. Miri is definitely developing :)

This restuarant is so nice inside the mall. It's a great dining experience .. you can see live cooks cooking for you in front of you

Our Chef that we hired for the lunch. It serves Japanese food. It comes in set and it's quite reasonable if there's a quite of people going in for lunch

For the night, my auntie brought all of us for a dinner at a Chinese Restaurant . The food is worth to try . 

DAY 3

Basically, i spend the whole day watching THE WALKING DEAD SEASON 4 i think if i am not mistaken. it was so nice. Before i left Miri, we went the ChinaTown and ate Indon Food. Sambal , Belacan. hmmmm..

That's all for what i want to say for this trip, i did enjoyed a lot during this trip ! Thank you

LAMBIR RAINFOREST @ Miri 

It would be a very nice place if you are an adventurer! You will need to go hiking for a few km to reach the amazing waterfall there and get a swim there!

-this is the most special public park i've gone to ! Haha

The view that you can see up there while you're on the track! Isn't that amazing enough? Kids can get to play there as it's public !

Beach in Miri

Miri have nice beaches which i admire a lot ! It's open to public and it's near to town which is so different form my hometown, Kuching where you have to drive there for like 1 hour +++ ! At Miri, you would just need to take a short ride there!

Remember to wear slipper ! If you wear something else like platforms , you would not have much fun because you would have to take good care of your shoes huh! Unless it's rubber -made !

Get something to eat while you are at the beach, there are stalls located at the parking area at Luak Bay. This is a Deep Fried Tapioca Kuih  ! My auntie bought it from a Muslim Stall and it's real nice ! Have a try !

As you can see this part of the beach is filled up with rocks ! At the end , if you go there , you can see the beach where i shown pictures on above !

I stayed at the beach from 5-6.30 and you can see the changes of the sun set ! It's a very beautiful experience for me as i didn't actually have the opportunity to admire or explore the beauty of the beach every time  ! So if you are planning to go to Miri for a trip , REMEMBER , don't forget the beach there! 😘

Food-hunting in Miri

Miri is a very popular place for food-hunting ! Every place have it's own interesting fact as for Miri , it's ALL ABOUT FOOOODDD. . ☺️

I always have the passion to post about food so here it is -> 

WANTAN MEE 

This is a very popular dish among Malaysia especially asians ! It's NON-HALAL . It contains minced pork and wrapped with a very thin layer of floured skin . It can be found in most places in Miri. You can find it in Mosjaya, Tian Tian cafe, and others! So i am sure you will love the food there! 

-it's cheap cost around RM 2.50-3.50. (Depends) 

CENDOL @ Sin Wan Delight , Miri 

It was treat for me by my relative after my Trinity exam. Mirians says this is the "best cendol in Miri" 

Try this with CENDOL @ the same cafe mention above

the Rojak is different from my hometown because it contains "LOK-LOK " as for our rojak here, we have fruits, veg and bean-curd. Hmmm, different. 😍 should try it out
