Thailand Youth Exchange 2014

Hello readers!

Sorry for the late blogging for so many months. I have been very busy because of activities coming up and haven't have the time to stay up on my laptop to type on! So for this typical month, i join this Lions Youth Exchange 2014. There are few places that we can apply for this youth exchange. Taiwan, Japan or Thailand. I chose Thailand as it doesn't crashes with my cousin's birthday.. i went to Thailand for 12 days. 10/12/2014-22/12/2014. There are 12 youth exchange including me from Malaysia to Thailand for this program.

This is my first hosting family in Bangkok as i will be having 2 hosting family in Thailand! Papa Chaitat & family.

First breakfast!!

 DAY 2 

On the morning, we went to the Grand Palace as it was the best place for tourist. During that morning, there were so many tourist going to the place !!!. will be showing you all some pictures.








After the Grand Palace, we had our lunch and made the trip to WAT ARUN (Temple of Dawn) it's one of the main attraction in Bangkok tooo.



you can get the best view of Bangkok on the top level of Wat Arun ! So i really do recommend you all if you guys have the energy please do up there and see the magnificient view.

the steps are so steep , !! i had a trauma getting down, but nvm ! it was a wonderful experience
After spending half of the afternoon at the places on top, we went the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall. This is a beautiful museum that collects the Her Majesty's fine works. 

it feels in the Queen palace.

Basically, we went to the typical tourist places, where there are a lot of tourist go there per day.

His Majesty & Her Majesty. Thai people respect them a lot.

Girls who visit the place must wear a skirt. That's the basic rule.



After all, we went to Papa Chaitat's gems shop.

We went to a Japanese Restaurant to eat Ramen.

Swensens as desert. We can find this ice-cream store all around in Thailand as it is really famous over there.


DAY 3
The next following day, we went to the floating market (the most famous one in Thailand) which i can't remember the name.... sorryyy

After having Breakfast, we went to the cobra show located outside Bangkok. 


it's indeed very excited.

We have fish cake. curry, & more.

DAY 4

it was the day where 12 of us would be separated to our own families. We walk around the places, and we ended up visiting at the Madame Tussauds.

DAY 5
That day was the day we have to change to another hosting family at Nonthaburi. It was the Choosiri Family. Our papa Chaitat brought us the house and hand over us to our Papa Ulan & Mama Monthip. Once we reach there, we went to the Wet Market to buy vegetables for dinner.


After that, we went to the relatives house and they rent a boat and headed to Ko Kret.

After spending the whole day at The small island, Ko Kret, we headed home for dinner. After dinner, we went to The Circle. We walk around the place and had supper at the Pancake House.

DAY 6
We went to shopping on this day .... We went off to Union Mall as it is considered wholesale place that we can get from there.


3 of us shopping together at Central Plaza. Had Korean Lunch over there.


Terminal 21 , Bangkok. 


At night, we went to Asiatique... it's a beautiful place in Bangkok. Recommended to go for travel if you are over there.

Ferris -Wheel. We had a ride on top there and you could see the entire Asiatique and the beautiful view of bangkok at night. it will go around for 5 rounds.

DAY 7
We went to the place called "Ancient Siam" you would be able to discover everything about Thailand. The culture and everything.

Went up to Sruvanathani Airport to pick up Pee. Mark from Beijing. 


DAY 8

DAY 9
it was the time to leave Choosiri Family after 5D 4N at their beautiful home. I'm glad that i was lucky enough to be their temporary daughter. we had the most beautiful memories together.

After all, Papa Chaitat came back and pick us from Nonthaburi and went back to Bangkok to stay at his house. We went to Chulalongkorn University with his 2 daughers, Pee. Honey & pee. Tuang. Shopping day with them againn!!

DAY 10
Went to WattaCheang School because there was an activity going on which is Charity for the school childrens. they lead simple life which brought happiness to me.


The lions of Ayuthaya donated bicycle to the childrens.

learnt to make paper roses from one of the Lions there.

After that, we pass by an elephant show at Ayuthaya.



At night, we went to Chinatown. nice food, and super crowded. 


DAY 11
Went to Bowling competition in the morning till afternoon. Went to Chatuchak Market to make the last minute shopping.

DAY 12
this is the time where we have to leave Thailand and live the reality again ! i had a really enjoyable time when i was there because the hosting families over there are too wonderful. Thank you


2014, is going to end soon but i had a wonderful year this year!!! Thank you to all readers who have been supporting me all these while.
